Let the bird watching resume!
Hello again! Sorry for the empty week and lack of updates, but we literally just drove in this morning from a trip west to Missouri. 
I haven’t even checked the bluebirds myself, so I’m as anxious as you are for news of our nestlings. I promise I’ll give you all a full update tomorrow!
Just for something fun to look at in the meantime, here are a few past favorites: one of a rose-breasted grosbeak that visited us for one day only last spring (note the classic red seed plate), and a ruby-throated hummingbird (female) from this spring that let me get within two feet of it to take this picture.
